Media-Society Press & Media Credentials
Media-Society issues professional organisational credentials to qualifying members who undertake journalistic or media work within or on behalf of the network.
What the credential means
A credential confirms that, on the date of verification:
- the holder has been identified by Media-Society;
- the holder has an active relationship with the network;
- Media-Society has classified the holder under the professional activity shown on the credential;
- the credential number is genuine and active.
What the credential does not mean
A Media-Society credential:
- is not issued by the Spanish Government or another public authority;
- is not a statutory professional licence;
- does not guarantee access to events, premises or restricted areas;
- does not replace accreditation requirements established by individual event organisers or institutions.
Credential categories
PRESS — Journalist
For contributors engaged principally in reporting, writing, interviewing or news gathering.
PRESS — Correspondent
For members regularly reporting from a particular country, city, institution or field.
PRESS — Photojournalist
For members engaged principally in editorial photography.
PRESS — Video Journalist
For audiovisual reporters and camera journalists.
MEDIA — Editor
For professional editors with an active editorial function.
MEDIA — Creator
For selected visual or multimedia professionals carrying out editorial media assignments.
Media-Society does not automatically issue press credentials to every member.
